Hinting of the glamour days of Vegas, this inspiration Las Vegas Wedding Elopement is filled with gilded accents, rich colors and great fashion choices. I’m overwhelmed by all of the ideas that I loved, so I’m just going to name a few.
Both brides got their attire from Rent the Runway. I haven’t had the chance to dive into this site yet but I love that an elegant, couture dress or jumpsuit is available so easily. I’ve had a couple of brides actually use this service for their ‘Reception Dress’ to have a change handy that was easy to dance in too.
There are so many non-traditional elements here. It’s a tiny elopement to start with the couple, an officiant, and a friend to witness. It’s a decadent day (look at that food spread!) while still being so intimate. A bouquet substitute was used, golden rings that were embellished with floral pieces, which I thought was just so much fun! There were plenty of flowers in the room and this ‘floral ring’ was a fun alternative to a second bouquet. During the ceremony, there was a wine and chocolate ceremony. They sipped wine and fed each other rich chocolate. These sweet elements were symbolic and I just wish I could remember all of the words and phrasing used! There was also a beautifully calligraphed woodwork sign, an update of the more popular chalkboard designs I’ve seen, which could go home with them as artwork to remind them of this day. And all of this took place in a gorgeous suit in the Golden Nugget Hotel in Old Las Vegas! Check it all out for yourself, I can’t imagine that you won’t be completely inspired by all of the details, the love, the intimacy, and the vibrant colors!
