Kelli and Jed incorporated a number of beautiful and personal touches into their wedding day and their ceremony. I wanted to share a couple details with you here, in writing, to help give some context to the photos below.
Kelli wore her mother's wedding gown that day, which was simply beautiful. Her earrings tied in the theme for their day, the symbolism of a braid. During their ceremony, they worked together to tie a larger braid - a threefold cord - that spoke to the power of their union and the three components of their marriage. Another sweet moment in their ceremony was when they each buried a small trinket, which symbolized their separate lives, at the alter where they were officially announcing their new life together. You'll also see adorable little kissing bells added to their decor and even placed outside. I really loved that they also set aside time alone together that night.. stepping away from the reception to share some quiet moments.
I hope you enjoy this glimpse from Kelli and Jed's gorgeous wedding last Fall!
