Earlier today my mom and Mark came over for lunch to celebrate Mother's Day and soak up the sunshine that managed it's way out from behind the clouds. It was such a nice afternoon, relaxed and fun, with plenty of jokes and stories.
I have to tell you, I don't have the words to do justice in describing what an amazing mother I have been blessed with. She is the most giving, loving, and supportive person I know. I can't even count all of the stories and times she's been there for me, improved my life, given me strength, set an amazing example, and offered a perfectly timed hug. I am so grateful. And even though I'm aware of this in my daily life, because my mom is pretty amazing every day of the calendar year, it is nice to have a day to shout it out loud too!
