Tanya from Bowties and Butterflies Event Planning put together the Bride's Bash, a wedding venue tour for newly engaged couples. A week ago on April 21st a group of soon to be brides, grooms, and their families hopped aboard a Peter Pan bus and spent a gorgeous Sunday touring four different wedding venues in Western Massachusetts and getting to know a couple vendors at each location. We went to Chandler's Restaurant, Lit, The Hotel Northampton, and The Log Cabin.
To prevent having one super long blog post or having to condense the entire day, I'm going to divide the day into four posts that will really highlight the experience we had at each site.
We boarded the bus at the Log Cabin in Holyoke and headed to Chandler's Restaurant at Yankee Candle in South Deerfield. Each seat on the bus had a goodie bag for attendees with a few treats from various vendors and on route we played a game or two and answered some wedding trivia for more treats!
At Chandler's we were given a tour of their beautiful restaurant. Chandler's has so much character, with its wood work, decor, and a room lined with wine bottles (my favorite!), and couples can even have their photos taken in Yankee Candle on their wedding day!
Cristen Rosinski from Aliber's Bridal was showing off beautiful gowns from her boutique in Greenfield and Anthony Gladu from Go Ask Alice Designs displayed a couple of his beautiful floral creations. I'm in love with both of the center pieces he had on his table, one is a gorgeous ball of carnations and the other was made using old books and a mini chalkboard.
